Buddy Roosevelt, a notorious bandit known as the "Phantom," and his doppelgänger, drifter Jeff McCloud. Bull manages to throw suspicion on Jeff but is himself killed by Jim Breed (John Junior).

Maj. John Furth, a Southern race-horse owner, borrows money to enter his prize racehorse Blue Bird in a race back east, hoping to win enough money to replenish the family fortune. The Phantom (1943) is a Columbia Pictures 15 chapter serial starring Tom Tyler in the title role. The serial is based on Lee Falk's comic strip The Phantom. The serial also features Jeanne Bates as the Phantom's girlfriend Diana Palmer, and Ace the Wonder Dog as the Phantom's trusty German shepherd Devil (who is a wolf in the original comic). Professor Davidson plans an expedition to find the Lost City of Zoloz. The location of the city is contained on seven pieces of ivory, three of which Davidson already possesses. Doctor Bremmer, however, intends to find the lost city and use it as a secret airbase for his unnamed country. To remove him as an obstacle, he kills The Phantom, only for his recently returned son, Geoffrey Prescott, to inherit the family identity and take over the mantle of The Phantom. Three of the remaining ivory pieces are owned by Singapore Smith, who initially steals Davidson's pieces. The seventh, and most important, piece is missing at first but turns up in the possession of Tarter (which The Phantom acquires by wrestling Tarter's pet gorilla). An inaccurate retelling of the life of silent filmmaker and comedian Buster Keaton.

Zwei traveled to a new city to start a new life. There he sees the girl of his dreams, Ein, for the very first time. Strangely, he spots her from 500 meters away, while she's crouched behind a military issue sniper rifle picking off mobsters. Soon Zwei's uncanny alertness comes to the attention of Ein's employers, and he's given a simple choice: train to become an assassin, or be marked as Ein's next target.

Bob Carson and sidekick Grizzly take a job driving a stage for a line that is being repeatedly robbed. The culprits place a large box on the stage in which Runt can hide and steal the gold without the driver or guard knowing it. When Bob realizes what is happening, he replaces Runt in the box in hope of catching the outlaws.

Loneliness: a trucker who calls out on his CB radio waiting for a reply that never comes. A ghost that haunts the deserted highways. A whale that sings at a frequency no other whale can even hear.

This entry in Universal's series of "Musical Westerns" shorts has Tex Williams, assisted by Deuce Spriggins and Smokey Rogers, bringing his six guns, fists and singing abilities against a gang of stage-robbing bandits.
